What's the boards opinion on this? I like him on the daily show but this is sort of a surprising move to me and it'll be interesting to see if I like it

I think Wilmore is great as the Daily Show's Sr. Black Correspondent.

He's good for a 3 minute skit once a month, i think he'll be terrible for a 30 minut show 4 days a week.

They were grooming John Oliver to replace which ever one of Stewart and Colbert left first. He left for HBO so they don't really have a successor. I think if they gave Wyatt Cynac his own show it would be pretty successful.

I like Wilmore. Now, I've never watched "Blackish", but I've liked him on the Daily Show.
