To the actual fans of those teams on here such as BeYou, yurintrouble and Bleeding Purple, I just want to congratulate your programs on a very good season. All of the playoff stuff aside I thoroughly enjoyed watching your games this year.

TCU has a terrific offense but a pretty mediocre defense. If you had the defense you typically have and won the Rose Bowl with you'd truly be the best team in the country. I look forward to playing you guys in a few years.

Baylor fans I hope you all appreciate what Briles has done for your program. You have gone from being a doormat to being a top national contender. I really hope these events show the importance of scheduling and we get to see Baylor play some top OOC competition.

Regardless of who occupies the 4th spot, I think we all hate Bama, so let's go Buckeyes! #TrollTide

Good assesment of TCU. Our typically strong D was lacking this year when we needed them most. Otherwise we would be undefeated and in the PLAYOFFS.

Hopefully boykin stays another year.

FTR I am ok with the current rankings.

Classy post. I wish it would be 8 teams so Baylor and tcu could get their shot.

It's all good.

Things happen. The last time TCU got really snubbed was when they got paired with Boise in the Fiesta Bowl. They came back even stronger the next year.

Gary is still making adjustments to the D so that it compliments the new Offense better.

Excited to play Ole Miss in the Peach. Will be a fantastic measuring stick game. Pulling for Baylor in the Cotton Bowl as well. Big XII as a whole is out to make a statement in bowl season.

Can't wait until our home/home vs the Buckeyes in, what... 5 years? We look forward to wrecking 2 seasons for you guys.

Yea he was saying this past weekend they were still a bit undersized from the change of conferences. Once they get the big bodies I trust Patterson will have D's like in the past, or at least similar (maybe not as dominant since it is good offenses every week)

Didn't seem like it was the line to me. The secondary got lit up against Baylor.

Until we play better defense we can't contend for a national title but will still score points on anybody's defense. OSU will face something they haven't seen all year, a big and fast defense. While I'd like to see them knock off the tide it will be extremely hard for them.

JJ, you're Rebs got hosed big time on that last fourth down Friday night. I was watching on the internet live and rewatched that play several times, horrible spot.

Good post Spirit Fun. You coming down here to the game? If you see a couple of college kids and an older guy with a grey goatee walking around the French Quarter around the 29th in Baylor gear that will be me, my daughter, and her Boyfriend. They go to Baylor.

Great post Sprint...this is how all our fans need to be with opposing teams!

As for TCU, I gained a tremendous respect for Gary Patterson...even more than I already had for him after his stance on all this playoff mess...very classy. I too respect Briles, he is just defending his team and at no time bashed any other team....nothing wrong with that.

As for an 8-team playoff, I would much rather see a 6 team, which would allow all 5 major conferences get at least one in and maybe have an at-large bid for the 6th spot. Not matter where it gets cut off at...someone is going to be left out. It is a shame that, all three could not get in - Ohio State, TCU, adn Baylor all deserved to be in.

Best of luck in your Bowls!
