Anyone notices how Monty lets AD pad his stats?

It could be a blow out loss or win but he just lets AD play unecessary minutes to put up empty numbers.

He missed nearly the entire 3rd quarter with the eye injury. He played with the second unit starting the 4th and then the starters came in briefly. He was then pulled out with the rest of the starters near the end. Not sure how this is different than any other game other than starting the 4th with the second unit.

I'm sure Monty is more concerned with AD padding his stats instead of resting him the night before a segababa. It can't be that they got their asses kicked in the second half and Monty wanted them to get some semblance of confidence.

When you're losing by 20+ the night before a segababa, you should rest your players unless you have a decent reason not to. Padding stats isn't a reason.

Any coach in the league would want to have AD on the floor as much as possible. A 21-year old MVP contender on a young team with little chance of making the playoffs as in a LOADED conference and then only to make a quick exit in the 1st round is sure as hell good enough of a reason for me.
