re: Stew Meat

Albertsons and Costco stew meat works fine. Coat with flour, brown, simmer covered for 2 hours, add vegetables, simmer for another 30 minutes or longer until vegetables are tender. The Costco meat I bought a couple weeks ago was good, but they don't cut it nearly small enough. Then again, I may not have needed to cut each piece into halves or thirds, as it was fork-tender when done. I'm just used to it being bite-sized to begin with.
