I have died so many times in the church of healing trying to jump down these wooden planks

word. thanks for the tip. most online guides say to just ignore the minions, but that absolutely doesn't work in my case... i have to clear some to even be able to get a hit or two on him (her?) before one comes down on me... i can handle the first part, but when it starts shooting rocs out of it's arse, it starts to get hard as shite
it also just sucks arse that I had like 40 vials in storage and this mother fricker has made me use every last one.. I' about to have to go farm for more which just seems like a chore... will probably go to the cathedral ward if I have to do that

Same here I prob died 15 times before I made it down...
Then i got kidnapped and warped to the hardest place I've Been yet in unseen village...I was looking for the lamp and ran into an electric beast named Paarl and he wrecked my shite...I'm looking for Vicar

If you run through central yharnam in one run I got 27 vials I farm cathedral for echoes

i wont use a single vial for the first few times i fight a boss, unless im absolutely sure that ive got his moves down to a T. When you kill the 2nd wave of minions, just practice evading his missiles

yea, should have just taken the death and conserved better. oh well, I am in central yharnam (still not sure how to spell that shite

Yes. I made it back up the elevator, opened the gate near the Cathedral and was right outside when a guy killed me and kidnapped me. I was so damn close to the lamp too.

in the church of the good chalice. from the church filled with minions and the ritual blood, exit out the bottom, go down some steps, and look for a more hidden staircase on the right (before the ladder up to the gunner tower)
once down those steps, you will be in a little town area. in the door htat the wolf breaks out of, you cna go up a spiral staircase to open a shortcut to the lamp. move your way throug hthat town and youll find the church
