AU and AtM both after Muschamp. His addition to either team would be a serious upgrade to a division rival.
Anybody besides Peveto, who never should have been re-hired. Not sure Miles makes any changes at all?
Might be time to start setting up a young replacement for Chavis. Could not hurt to have an up and coming coach mentor for a couple years with Chavis.
Just IMHO, I would run Cameron out of here if he is unable to develop a young QB. Not going to happen because it is Miles' buddy. Would not be surprised if Miles is trying to set Cameron up as his successor.

I refuse to believe that Cameron can't develop a QB. We all saw the improvement in Mett from 12-13. That didnt happen by luck.

The guy has worked with Brees and Flacco and they have spoken well of him.

These guys dont learn for 3 months and automatically become all-americans.

Aside from Peveto, we have a really good staff.
However, Cameron is either a problem or Miles is holding the offense back with decisions on the QB and play calling. If Miles wants to be the OC, then he needs to simply own up to the incompetence on the field and stop making excuses.

What is so hard to understand about having inexperienced QBs? The best coaches in the world can't fix everything. Cam is a very well-respected coach and our fans calling for him to be run out are making LSU fans look extremely stupid.

Inexperienced? Just another excuse. Aj has been in the system for 2 full seasons and his passing is totally incompetent. Plenty of colleges have less experienced players on the field and they perform.
AJ is literally at the very bottom of over all NCAA QBS. JJ played better than what we have right now and that was with less experience too.
Cameron - Cameron has been fired from job after job. See anybody beating on the door to hire him as a head coach right now?
Maybe we should go back to the Crowton interview? Miles is trying to play OC and that may be the source of incompetence on our offense.

Nearly all of the QBs in the SEC are juniors or seniors. Experience is not an excuse. It's a legit reason for lack of production. I'm not gonna defend Jennings because I do think he's probably nearing his ceiling already, but there is only so much Cam can do with an inexperienced QB. Look at how much Mett improved from his Junior to Senior year. That was probably a combination of Cam and experience that attributed his better play.

Why do we care what upgrades Miles makes to the Michigan coaching staff?

Coaching QBs in college includes evaluating prospects, recruiting and developing them, as well as preparing the next QB after the starter completes his eligibility or leaves early for pro. If Cam were able to see Jennings "ceiling" last year, he should have done something different to prevent such a drop in QB quality after Zach left. Was "getting rid" of Rettig a mistake?

Anyway, next season should be the year to prove that Cam can really coach the QBs in college setting (NFL doesn't deal with players eligibility), especially Harris who Cam recruited "to fit" his offensive style.

Would be nice to have optimism but next year is setting up for a new OL and the same, at best, incompetence at QB. The new OL, the graduations and the early entrees to the draft will highlight the list of excuses for next season.
Odds are that another fight to stay in the Top 25 (glad it is not the Top 20 as in the past) and out of the cellar of the SEC West Division.
Almost obvious that, for some reason, Harris is on the Miles ban list just like J Lee.....

Then LSU needs to consider "changing the guards", at least on offense. This is a professional world for the coaches, even in college sports.

If MI wanted Miles, the wheels would have been in motion. MI never has wanted him .....

How do you know Cam didn't do all he could with Jennings last year to prepare him? And they didn't get rid of Rettig. He chose to leave because he didn't want the competition.

Jimbo did it with an inexperienced qb, and Johnny beat bama and won the Heisman as an inexperienced qb. An inexperienced qb should be able to do a lot more than Jennings did.

You don't know that we have a totally new OL. Far from a given.

Two or three of the starters are seniors, so while it may not be totally new, there will be growing pains.

There are changes every year lol. Obviously we won't have the exact same OLine. Every team every year has growing pains.
