With LSU type of players, his offense would work. You cannot compare Arizona's talent with LSU.

The jury is out on Cam Cameron for year two.

that's some damn good tackling by UA that may be better than the offensive firepower

I want Malzahn's offense, Cameron's requires a Mettenberger, Malzahn's can run with a DB as Qb. LSU is college football, I want a kid that can win college games, I dont give a shite that Nick Marshall may not be Payton Manning on the next level, but as he is today, today he is a fine college Qb and that is all we need

This game is reminding me of 1/9. Arizona wins first game in Oregon's home stadium and Oregon gets rematch and dominates.

He isn't exactly competing against a recruiting giant.

Rich rod lovers getting defensive.
Hilarious seeing people that call themselves fans of a team but do nothing but shite on them but they defend other school's coaches and teams.

Never seen anything like it.

No I want a real freakn pro style offense that takes advantage of a Defenses weakness and uses all of its talent that has a QB that can pass an accurate ball to the open man and can actually use play action to open the field up. Then a team that can play defense and put pressure on the opposing QB and cause TOs. Thats all lol

1. He was a DB for 1 year, and QB for 3.
2. He palyed QB in high school
3. we held his offense to 10 points twice when he was an OC, and it was because he didn't have the right QB to run it. It requires a Qb as much as our offense does. Nick Marshal is incredible good at running the ball.

Yep. If we had better defense, then we would have put up more plays, which would have meant more chances for yardage and points. We averaged 65 plays a game last year, 40 run 25 pass. Just ticking that up to 70, something like 43 run 27 pass, would be a perfectly balanced O.

Loved the offense we ran last year. With a mobile QB (option, take off when nothing is there), it makes it even more deadly.

You are right. If they had our QBs they would roll Oregon.

Our offense is fine, just need a functional QB.

Every offense requires some minimum level of talent to be functional. I think the point he was making is that what Malzahn requires at QB is apparently a lot less than what we require. I agree that Marshall is a good fit for what they have been doing on O. Will be interesting to see how they transition to a new QB next year with a different skill set (and likely less two very good WR's).
