Isn't SC a perfect spot for him? Its the only school that could promise him head coach in waiting benefits.I see SC as precisely the type of place he could get a second chance.

I don't think anyone is disputing that if SC offers him that, that he shouldn't take it and go to one of the other suitors.

But would you be comfortable if your school offered him HCIW?

A better QB steps in, Roc Thomas and Jovon Robinson in the backfield, Patrick Miller back up the middle...we lose Dismukes but will be fine at center

Melvin Ray, Marcus Davis, Ricardo Louis, Truitt, Tony Stevens at WR if Duke and Sammie don't return = quality with a great QB

ETA I'm not sure if you've noticed but Artis-Payne isn't a great RB, he gets it done in our system. he won't be drafted high if at all. Jovon Robinson might be the best RB in the SEC next year skill-wise

Shon Coleman (still has a few kinks to work out), Braden Smith, Patrick Miller are three of the five...I think we'll be fine

Artis-Payne is gone too.

Auburn will have two 5 star running backs and another guy just short of 5 stars. Best group of running backs on paper under Malzahn

I wonder why Gus didn't play his best qb this year? Could be playing for a title.

Seemed to improve as the year went on. Didn't exactly light the world on fire at the beginning of the year.

Yeah, QB was the problem in the losses this year. Clearly it wasn't the defense.

He put up more points on Arkansas in his first drive than LSU did in 60 minutes.

Could be, but it probably has to do with playing behind an athletic QB who has been pretty clutch and also played for a national title last season.

Some on this site (non-AU people) claim NM was the best SEC QB this season. Regardless, we had time and effort devoted to Marshall, too much of an upheaval to change what we planned to do.

Did I say that? Beaver said y'all will have a better qb next year. But there was that 7 point game against Georgia, so maybe he is right.

Y'all were quite fortunate to catch Arky 1st game. I sure wouldn't have wanted to play them in Nov.

That's cool.

I guess y'all have to hold on tight to that LSU win when you only get it once every four years.

What's being held onto here...that our backup qb put up more points than LSU did against arky?
