Aren't there plans? I remember them posted a while back.

It really doesn't frick with anyone but LSU students and a few in Riverbend so I don't have a problem if they never change it.

That light was severely needed.

there probably have been several sets of plans. But the Rail Road has to approve before anything can be done. I think thay have been on the clock for about 20 years.

Is it a 4-way (I guess 3way) or a right turn only with a u-turn lane on Burbank?

Just wonder if BR did some actual planning or just threw a redlight up.

It will cause a huge cluster around an already heavily trafficked area. If those 18 year old freshmen living there would know how to yield properly, there would be no need for another traffic signal.

shite, don't have time but I remember this coming up a few months back. Someone in the know said everything is approved, funding is just the issue right now. Can't remember exactly.

There are few instances in which I support the erection of a traffic light, and this is one of them.

I prefer the slight inconvenience of a red light over the possible fear of some dumbass pulling out in front of me while making a u-turn.

There have been plans since 1989, but all of them require action on the part of the railroad. Since the railroads pretty much have free reign in this country to do whatever the f&%k they want, when they want, the railroad has not acted as requested, so nothing has been done.
