What is your favorite song from that album?

I have always like Run Like Hell a lot. Especially the Pulse Concert version without Roger Waters.

I always learn new things about that album. Like how the last song ends with "Isn't this where..." and the first song begins with "we came in?" so that it appears to be cyclical. Pretty cool IMO.

One of the most overrated, bloated pieces of trash ever.

I guess Comfortably Numb, but I really just like the solos in it.

I've just never been a fan of The Wall, even though I like some other melancholy albums. I'd consider myself a pretty big Pink Floyd fan as well, but this album just falls way behind works like Meddle , Dark Side of the Moon, Animals, Wish You Were Here and even stuff like Ummagumma and Atom Heart Mother.

Dear Lord.

Meddle starts out with a solid jam, then has a slow dragging number, 2 awesome songs (fearless is one of my favorites they've ever done), followed by what is widely regarded as one of the worst tracks they've ever put out. Then you have echoes which is great, but it's 25 got damn minutes. I'm a big floyd fan but at some point there comes a time where you're just done listening to a song.

To say that Meddle is "way behind" the wall is simply laughable.

The Wall might be Floyd's worst album other than the the later stuff that is barely worth listening to

it represents everything that sucks about prog/concept album music. overindulgent is putting it nicely.

Echoes may very well be the greatest Pink Floyd song of them all.

Meddle pound for pound is a much better album. The Wall is full of throwaway crap and always reminded me of a poor man's Tommy or Quadrophenia.

The only reason "Comfortably Numb" is not my favorite song ever is because I wore it out on vinyl.

Back in the day there was nothing more fun than a Pink Floyd laser light show.

It's hard to really compare "pound for pound" since the wall has like 25 "songs" (some of which are only a minute, and I believe a couple are even less than a minute) while Meddle only has 6. And it bears repeating Meddle contains the worst song PF has ever put out. It has 2 great songs, 2 good songs, a below average song, and a shitty one.

I'm not talking "pound for pound", because the disparity in song quantity is too much..I'm talking about albums. And The wall is far and away the better album. It's better than ummagumma and AHM as well.

I'm only 14 but I listen to bands like pink floyd and queen, everybody else my age listens to miley cyrus and the jonas brothers. I was born in the wrong generation!
