Does anyone else take a break from sports talk radio this time of year?

I find myself usually not listening to nearly as much sports talk between now and February, when college baseball starts.

This has to be the most boring time ever. Other than the Miles to Michigan "talk", there is nothing fun to hear them talk about. I can't bring myself to listen to them discuss what mediocre bowl game LSU will go to or how the basketball team looked vs some directional school. There's always recruiting talk but hearing about decisions 17 year old kids are making is awful radio.

What's the Rant's opinion?

I only listen to hear just how horrible this committee idea was.

I'm not in BR or in Louisiana, so I listen to more national talk radio. If your college football team is not in the playoff hunt, TV is quite boring too.

Do you remember Conference Call? with Max Howell(?). That's when I quit. Wonder what ever happened to 6 Pack Dan?
