Which would you say best describes your coding wrt C++11/14
1) I use C++11/14 all of the time and have no idea how I coded without it in the past
2) I use C++11/14 sometimes when there is a particular feature I know exists that can help me
3) I avoid C++11/14 because C++03 works so why fix it?
4) WTF is C++11/14?

In between 1 and 2. I try to stay on par on the current standard, but I don't feel like it's really changed my life or anything.
There are a ton of reasons why this is absurd. C and C++ are still numbers 2 and 3 in popularity and usage, according IEEE. I know it's fun to act like we've progressed past these languages, but they're very much in demand. In fact, I've read recently that C++ was experiencing a major comeback. Microsoft, for example, has basically ditched C# and is now pushing C++ really hard onto game developers, specifically their indie crowd.

I do HPC. C++ and C seem to be the dominate languages in that field.

So let's stop using Windows, Linux, MacOS, Android, iOS, most embedded devices, most hardware since drivers are typically written in c/c++, and on and on
