He's not coming to LSU and he was never coming to LSU

I wonder why though? The kid is insanely athletic so he would get a ton of offers regardless.
He would do well at RB, WR, and DB. On offense, he fits that Jalin Marshall, Artavis Scott, Pharoah Cooper, etc mold.
Same thing we did with Shepard. Wildcat, at RB, at WR. That dimension we added with Dural, could easily be used with Merritt.

We already have three RB commits. Is Kirk a RB, WR, or a DB? What position does he want to play if anyone knows?

IIRC his dad was pretty clear he liked LSU but wouldn't try to steer it. No need to take jabs when for all we know Kirk himself never wanted the LSU offer.

Not a must get although he's obviously an outstanding athlete. Last I heard, he's not considering LSU much at all. A&M, Bama, Oregon, Notre Dame are the ones I most recently heard are his favorites.

if he doesn't come here, which I highly doubt he does, I'd like to see him at Oregon. He'd be De'eathony Thomas vr 1.1.5. Maybe not as good as the first, but fun to watch in that offense.

Even if there is any truth to that, as a father, getting your kid exposure is important.
