Also, this is way off base, but check this video out.
It describes me to a t. Bigger guys like the smallest guns because we know we can get away with hiding the smaller 9mms out there. You cannot see it on me even with the Hanes Tagless White Tee.
Also, remember that my advice is only worth what you have just paid for it.......$0

love my S&W hammerless .38 revolver. Fits in my front pocket, 5 rounds, loud, and low recoil (for its size). If you can't hit them or scare them away with 5 shots, you shouldn't have a gun IMO.
Dis what I do with the LCR. If I have the right clothes on I cc the G23

So, would a Beretta Px4 Storm be going in the right direction given the above comment? I've never shot one.
I can go full size. I like the CZ75B. I have several 1911's and an HK p30 for myself.
Edit: Sorry, I just realized this is a Conceal Carry post. I'll get outta here with this shite.
No problem. Just stick with something fulled sized to get her used to recoil first. Once she learns to tame recoil and gets comfortable, then you can step her up to something smaller and snappier.

Sorry for responding back so late, due to finals week, my life revolved around studying last week.
I made the decision last Saturday 12/7 to go ahead and stop procrastinating and get the gun I really had my heart set on getting. The Springfield XDS9, and couldn't be happier. I picked up for $499 at Bowie, which was the best price in town.
I ended up being more accurate with it than I am with my full size M&P 9.

Just curious why not edit your original post vs why create another post?

Not exactly the same but here you go
I seriously considered that gun, because of that price on palmetto state armory's website. But concealing it inside the waistband was not near as comfortable as the XDS due to it being double stack vs. a single stack.

Those plain XDs are so chunky. I had the 3 inch as my first true subcompact, and while a solid pistol, there are much better carry options now.

thanks to this thread I purchased a S&W M&P9 Shield this weekend. Sweet little gun. Well balanced and fun to shoot. Looked at the Kimber Solo but didn't like the grip. Have to give credit to S&W on the Shield- its very comfortable in hand.

yes. I have to say, as I'm not a big 9mm fan, this little gun is a jewel.

SW Shield
Kahr CM9
I am also getting very interested in the Kel Tec P-11.
good
-it's lighter than my CM9
-it holds 4 more rounds than my CM9 with only one magazine
bad
-I don't know much about kel tec, but in my opinion, time improves every handgun
-the doublestack creates more printing, but so does the extra magazine that my ccw holster for the CM9.
the interesting part of all of this is that you have to pick for yourself. getting great feedback is an awesome thing, especially from fellow Tiger fans. but you end up having to decide what fits you best.

Only reason to own a Kel tec if for a throw down gun. My dad had one of their 380's. Biggest POS I have ever fired. It wouldn't shoot more than 2 rounds without a FTF. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra coin on a shield. You will be happy you did.

Congrats to all who elected to buy the Shield instead. Welcome to the brotherhood.
