What's a good lot for tailgating (tent/grill/drinking) around the Panthers stadium in Charlotte? Bonus points if it is an option for overnight parking.

Trying not to break the bank, but there's some value in booking parking ahead via parkwhiz or something just so we have less to worry about when we drive in that morning. Anything not a garage is up for consideration

ETA: At least 2 vehicles (SUVs)

GT has already sold out its allotment and is buying up extra sections.

To answer the OP, I went in 2012 and hung out at a sports bar on Church St before the game.

There are some good outdoor/open lots next to Knights stadium I'd recommend trying.

Around 3rd or 4th street if you're looking at a map of downtown next to Knights stadium.

Park at one of the light rail stations and take it there. There are tons of parking lots south of Uptown and you can get in and out really easily.

True, didn't read the whole message. I agree with the previous poster, find spots around 3rd or 4th near Knights Stadium. Also, look around Uptown Cabaret, there is usually a lot going on there.

It's the ACC Championship. Park right by the stadium with the hundreds of others in attendance.
