Anybody recommend the pebble watch?

I'm thinking about getting a Pebble smart watch.
I don't really care about fitness or heart rate / sleep tracking or anything like that. I mainly want something that I can receive notifications from my phone on, and tells time. I have an iPhone so Moto 360 is out of the question.
Is the pebble worth it, anybody have one?

i have one, it works pretty well. i got an original kickstarter one, but if i had to do it over again, i'd probably save the money.
it works, just not as cool as i thought it was when i ordered it

If you have an iPhone why not wait a couple of months for the Apple Watch?

I like it and would recommend it if your jailbroken. The jailbroken version of the smartwatch+ app is much better than the regular version.

This isn't out of the question for me. It just seems like the apple watch has a lot of fluff software that I won't actually use, and the lofty $349 base model price.
Like I said, I mainly just want something that gives me phone notifications and tells time. A plus for the pebble is that it's waterproof. Apple hasn't said that the Apple Watch isn't waterproof, but I would think if it was, that they would have emphasized it. I don't want to worry about ruining my $349 watch just by washing my hands.

pebble is 'ok'. got one for my brother but given google and apple are both making watches now; i don't think these are long for this world.
considering its only really useful if you jailbreak your phone, i don't think you're going to be happy with it.
just wait for apple's offering and decide if $350 is too steep. i just don't think the pebble is what your'e looking for.

I just picked up a Garmin VivoSmart. I really only use it for notifications. So far, I'm very pleased.
