UF may have gauged his interest from Sexton but it never reached a point where any contract was offered. There was never any contact between UF and Freeze or Ole Miss.

There probably was some communication, but neither Foley nor any of his reps would ever throw out a monetary offer without an interview or knowing if he would accept it. Foley shot that story down right away, he doesn't do that too often unless the story is absolutely false.
