PS3 dowloading or saving created players to newer games

Please have a little patience. I'm trying to save and upload created players from both RTTS 2013 to 2014 and tiger woods 2012 golf to 2014 golf. I can see the saved versions on my data, but when I load the new game and it's asks me if I want to download a created player and I reply yes to proceed - it states that it can't find the player. I hope I have explaimed my self correctly. Maybe I need a 12 year old to come over and give me a hand. In rtts it's no bid deal, but in golf I have won numerous trophies and unlocked a lot of equipment not to have to start over. Tia.
