Also shows Arkansas v. Texas in Liberty Bowl in Memphis. I grant that makes sense.

We're 8-4 yall gonna have to get over getting a sexy bowl opponent. We could get much worse than WVU.

Plus it's a spread O, which we do very well against typically. (Except with our young D early this year)

no upside .. at least w Texas, we gain recruiting exposure and our styles match, with WV I do not see an upside at all.

Already played West Virginia twice in recent years. I'd rather kick a somewhat proud Texas program when they're down.

Have the demographics of Memphis drastically changed?

This

Just drove to Houston for the Wisconsin game. I'd much rather a further drive if it means a new destination.

I was mostly kidding about the frick Houston part. Would just much rather party in Memphis and hate the drive down I-10 to Houston.

Hearing from Texas Bowl people they are trying hard to make LSU/UT happen.

They still have a magazine
Any matchup right now is pure speculation, SEC can do whatever they want now.

I think continued presence in Houston (and just Texas for that matter) will only bear fruit for recruiting and we have a strong following.... so I'd like to go there.

If LSU wants to keep from eating a ton of money due to unsold tickets, they will beg the Texas Bowl to take us.

Yeah, I was just talking about me, personally. I'd rather go to Memphis than Houston for a game.
