The SLPOA is calling for the players involved to be disciplined and for the Rams and the NFL to deliver a very public apology. Roorda said he planned to speak to the NFL and the Rams to voice his organization's displeasure tomorrow. He also plans to reach out to other police organizations in St. Louis and around the country to enlist their input on what the appropriate response from law enforcement should be. Roorda warned, "I know that there are those that will say that these players are simply exercising their First Amendment rights. Well I've got news for people who think that way, cops have first amendment rights too, and we plan to exercise ours. I'd remind the NFL and their players that it is not the violent thugs burning down buildings that buy their advertiser's products. It's cops and the good people of St. Louis and other NFL towns that do. Somebody needs to throw a flag on this play. If it's not the NFL and the Rams, then it'll be cops and their supporters."

The SLPOA would be better off with a new voice. Roorda is respected by no one.

How about if law enforcement ignore it and move on? The fact that the SLPOA even cares about this is VERY troubling. What is this? A police state?

Glad to see everything is taken care of to the point where this can become a priority for the SLPOA.
Players to be disciplined? Seriously?

Gives some insight into the initial Police response against the protestors back in August.
Shut up.
Ask no questions.
Submit.
Don't protest.
Here's a machine gun.
And an armored vehicle.
Hey, Rams - no protesting! We demand an apology!
They are out of their minds and out of control.

The Rams will discipline themselves by moving to Los Angeles after the season.

Those cops won't stop watching those games or supplying security details to those players..money talks.
They can get over themselves.

Reverse-Reverse Racism. Do you y'all see how ridiculous this shite gets. Those with money will fight this, and who wins? Those who make money.

Would be more effective if the rams had lost and not did what they did to Oakland.

Well,a lot of black players in the NFL would be common street thugs if they weren't playing ball so this wasn't all that surprising.

In a league that fines players for dunking footballs over goal post and for having writing on their uniforms or socks, they don't have a hair on their balls if these guys aren't fined for this act.

Actually on duty cops do not have free speech.
Very scary they don't thing its appropriate to not shoot someone who has their hands in the air.

Is this post
A) racist
B) very racist

Why just the black players? You think someone with the attitude of Johnny Manzel would just be selling insurance?
