Saban says that occasionally you have to win a scoring war if you are going to compete nowadays. I am paraphrasing, do you think Miles and Cameron retool our attack next year, like Alabama did last year.

I thought he was dumb for hiring Kiffin, now there seems done validity to it

I think we see a lot of of what we did against A&M going forward.

Hopefully Harris can step up and add a passing dynamic.

I know we want to run more read option stuff.

I wonder why he said that...

We threw for 3000 yards last year.

You guys are so obsessed it's embarrassing.

The passing offense was 45th in the country with a bunch of NFL players running it. Unless we have another senior NFL QB ready to go, LSU will have a problem.

So it won't get much better, and at best Cam's offense will be above-average

Up until last night, most of the Gump Nation wanted to get rid of Kiffin. Just because they had a good showing against a porous defense doesn't mean that Kiffin was a good hire. Ellis Cooper will likely be replaced as DC at Auburn.

Since, trying to adapt a QB to Cam's offense didn't work that well, I think you will see LSU's offensive philosophy modify to fit the QB, which is what we saw against TAMu. Not sure how to do that, because the QB usually has to fit the system, not the other way around.

Not an obsession goof ball. I thought it was a different tact than Saban has had, going from asking for rule changes to an if you can't beat em join em.

Love him or hate him he is a pretty decent coach who most closely resembled Miles and his approach

I don't think he can do it with Cam. I have discovered over the years that Saban is a great people manager. He hires the best and then gets the best out of them.

After 9-6 Saban has slowly morphed into a better offensive coach. 22 of 26 first downs were throws against LSU in 21-0. To many Bama fans chagrin, he started throwing more in 12 and 13, and even more in 14 with Lane.

If the old formula isn't working as well, then try something else. Hopefully, Les is paying attention. Maybe TAM was a start.

Think about this: in LSUs worse game...Auburn scored 41 in a blow out. Auburn scored 44 on Bama last night.

Are you serious with this statement?

Auburn totally shut their offense in the second half. If they keep the foot on the gas they might score 70.

I wont be disappointed, it is a topic where reasonable minds can disagree.

I think we must get more offensive production when playing stingy defenses. I can also see where the ball control offense has won football games for decades.

I am not sure that Saban and his shift will result in more championships, time will tell.

We did that last year. Bama got a new coordinator. They didn't do anything fancy. Their offense is pretty much to run Sims around enough til Amari Cooper gets open. I do like that they have allowed him free reign. The first few games, they barely let him throw anything deep. It was pretty much screen to Cooper and then let him do everything. I also like the change to a base 3 WR set. I still don't understand why we don't do this.

Nothing was ever wrong with hiring him, but still he has pretty much done what Cam did last year with a 5th year senior QB, and two stud WRs. I want to see how he fares after losing his QB, 3 starting WRs, starting RB, 3 starting OL, and starting TE.

Well it seems to work for them.... Lets see.. Bama scored 55 points on AU and LSU scored 10... Game over HOMER............
