he's got experience recruiting for Auburn before and has lots of experience and a name in TX

we know his schemes still work on defense. he's just not HC material yet

Either is scary for us IMO. Auburn a little scarier because we haven't proven we can stop that offense.

TAMU because Auburn is good without him. If TAMU improves, LSU might be sent into perpetual mediocrity.

He'll be a head coach at a lower tier P5 school before either of those, imo.

i think he's going to DC for a couple years and pull a saban/schiano and come back as a great HC prospect again

I'd drop Chavis for him in an instant.

I wish he wouldn't be in the SEC.

Auburn. Not sure Sumlin's offense hasn't been mostly figured out by SEC DC's

Near term Its gotta be Auburn. They have some beef on defense and some really talented players. They have access to excellent defensive players for future classes.

Tamu has a bunch of luchadores in the middle who get road graded game after game. Their defensive recruits are not looking any better and for some reason their players don't get bigger, faster, or stronger in their system. A dcoord can only do so much with that institutional weakness.

Long term, Aggie has the highest potential in the conference, but its going to require Sumlin digging deep and reevaluting what he needs to do to win. I dont see that happening.

Neither school will make a strong enough bid to get 'Champ, and that will be to their own detriment.

I dont think Muschamp will go to either of those. Look for him to get out of the SEC for a while again.

I see Kirby Smart to Nebraska and Will to either Bama or Aggie land... Either way, I think it's bad for LSU...

Same here. Chavis years are limited and he doesn't do anything on the recruiting front.

LSU is 2-1 v. Malzahn at Auburn. Auburn scored 10 points in 2012 and 21 in 2013, almost all of those when down by 3 scores. So... LSU has stopped that offense. Actually, LSU is much better at stopping spread offenses like A&M and Auburn than power offenses like Arkansas and Bama.
