CNN is lying when they say Ferguson protests were ‘peaceful’

Here’s a quiz for you folks in the media: What happens if you’re out doing “man on the street” interviews but none of the men on the street fit your “narrative”?
If you’re CNN, you stop interviewing them.
It has been remarkable to watch the last few days as America’s self-styled “most trusted news network” has sent out teams of reporters to various areas of Ferguson, Mo., ostensibly to cover the protests there. While their cameramen are watching cars on fire and stores being looted, the reporters ramble on about how “most people here” are “peaceful protesters.”
Where are these peaceful protesters? The reporters can’t seem to find any. Instead, they turn to outside experts and some carefully vetted religious leaders to talk about “the real message” of the protests.

Going back to August, CNN's coverage of this has been very perplexing. Bias is expected in this day and age, but their downright advocacy with regards to this has been nothing short of bizarre.

Were they searching for the Malaysian airliner?

There was no looting, it is now called undocumented shopping.

They know FOX is beating them so there is no point in practicing the same techniques and advocating the same boas. Do just the opposite in hopes that people are outraged at cops who protect themselves. Plus, with this kind of slant, CNN, I am guessing, has increased viewership due to all of the angry anti-Mike people who want to get even more pissed off.

CNN is terrible. After these past few lies, I am done with them.
FOX or The Blaze for me.

Still running the meme of "he had his hands up", according to "eye witnesses", while running interviews with the refuted liar Dorian Johnson. They do point out the evidence provided in Wilson's defense, sparingly, but they rebut with the aforementioned 'evidence'. It would be laughable if we didn't have nearly half of the population that buy into the propaganda.

There should be some penalty for a supposed news organization putting forth completely false information - especially when those lies are being used to provoke violence.
They should be forced to run retractions as PSAs for those instances - at a rate of 10-1 over their false programming.

Well, FB...there is a pretty damn good market for lies nowadays. Obama blatantly lied re the ACA - with Republicans running on repealing it - and he won...and he's still popular with a large % of the populous.
Here it is..."Behold, I will send them GREAT DELUSION, that they will believe a lie" (Biblical). Seeing is believing. And this is the first act most likely. Once people go down that road...they don't turn around. Too much ego at stake.
Live and learn.

In fairness, late on the first night they went to one of their reporters out on the scene and asked him how many were agitating in his area, instead of protesting peacefully. They even led him with the "we know most are protesting peacefully" bit.
He hemmed and hawed a bit by saying he was in an outlaying area, away from the police station but finally just came out and said that everybody in his area were either lighting fires or destroying property and he hadn't come across any "protestors" Then a bunch of teenagers started shouting in front of the camera and they cut away.
Maybe CNN stopped doing that later and, yes, they were clearly trying to push a certain narrative but some of their guys on the street were being legit on the first night.
