Solar chargers for cellphones and tablets..

I'm going to build one that doesn't suck and won't cost $100.
Who wants one? My first charger works but the output is low and it'll take a full day to charge it to 50%. I'm upgrading the solar panel on my next design.
Most of the inexpensive chargers say 2 hours to fully charge, but the output of said charger is 1/10th what you get from a wall charger; meaning they are FOS.

I'll get one up and running first.
Apple likes to dick around and adjust the D+ and D- inputs on the USB chargers. If there isn't the correct voltage on these inputs and it'll give you an accessory not authorized message.

Not trying to be an arse but do you think you can build one better than what is already on the market? Doubtful...

If I recall, you are in the solar business, correct?

Electrical Engineer, but I have always built things like this in my spare time.
I ordered a different solar panel on Sat. The one I previously purchased had very low output at 5V.

I'd want to see a finished product but I'm slightly interested.

I set up the new cell and it's averaging a 7%+ recharge in 10 min.

I have to tweak the outputs on the USB jack.
It charges iPads, iPhone 3G, and iPhone 4s (not a 4).
The 6/6+ doesn't recognize the accessory, and I don't have a 5 to test it.

It's about 3 hours to a full recharge for a phone.

What are the dimensions on the panel?
