Many people may not be aware of this show, but it is awesome...comes on NBC Fridays at 9:00pm...
if you like Supernatural and Grimm, you will love this show...
Based on DC/Vertigo comics Hellblazer...
Tonight's episode is freaking amazing

Someone told me that it was done after episode 13. I hope they are incorrect.

they aren't done...NBC is waiting on how the ratings of the next episodes do, and also the fan outcry to keep the series.
if you want to help out and have twitter, go to @NBCConstantine, and tweet #SaveConstatine.
Also if you are on facebook you can go to NBC and leave a message.
Both of the lead actors were recently on yesterday at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.
They are using this to promote the show...apparently one of the NBC higher ups loves the show and wants it to work, but he needs the support

Season 1 will end after 13 episodes. NBC will then decide whether to renew for a second season.

I like this show a great deal although the pilot had be concerned Matt Ryan would over act the character to the point it would become unwatchable. He seems to have restrained himself in subsequent episodes.

I stopped watching after the pilot, thought the acting was terrible all around.

pilots usually suck...each episode has gotten better as the season has went along...

I agree but its gotten better and the show is entertaining.

Those of you who are saying Constantine is not done after this season are delusional. This show is dead. Shows that don't get a back nine are most certainly NOT getting a second season. Even if they had gotten a back 5 or 6 there would be no hope for a season 2. Just the facts.

they sure are promoting it a lot just to cancel it the back half of the season

and just to clarify, I really want CW or Syfy to pick this up.
NBC screwed up by putting it in the death slot to begin with.
It will do a lot better with other DC shows like Arrow and the Flash on CW.

How many episodes did Hannibal have in its first season? Constantine is getting slightly better ratings and it was renewed.
Eta: Hannibal had 13 episodes in its first season.
Watch Constantine live or stream it. That's the numbers the execs look at and if they continue to climb, it's got a more than fair shot at getting renewed.

Ratings were really horrible.
Normally, it would be outright cancelled but someone on the show must have some clout to even have the show possibly revisited next season.
Long term prognosis isn't good. I doubt it gets another order.

But Hannibal's seasons where never intended to be typical 22 episode seasons. Constantine was waiting for a back nine and NBC elected to stop production at 13. Fall premiere rookie shows that were intended to get a full season and do not are canceled.

NBC wants Neilson Ratings not online streams. They want 18-35 demo.

Ratings were really bad.
Really bad. Same ratings as ABC's Cristela who just sqeeked by and got its back 9. BUT Cristela is a Friday night show. Lowest ratings.

I didn't know that.. Why are you trying to ruin my life?
Fyi on the streaming, the exec producer tweeted that they look at streaming numbers too.
I'm watching live from here on out and keeping my fingers crossed.

this show is going to get picked up by another network if cancelled.

I agree wholeheartedly. As most have said, the show has improved episode to episode. I think another network will take a chance to let it develop further.

Well, that depends on who OWNS the show. If Warner Brothers own the distributing rights to the show then the show is not going anywhere.
