Did nobody else see on the 1st or 2nd Magee run in the 2nd half Connor Neighbors pancake 2 atm players with one hit? He then stood over them and produced a yell that came straight from the pits of hell. He was killing people all night. I can't find a video of it online but good god I watched that about 5 or 6 times last night after it happened.

Was that the one where the RB didn't get much but Neigbors was blocking out in front of him and a couple defenders fell like bowling pins? He and Melvin have really punished some ppl this year.

May play a couple of years in the NFL - maybe not because so few actually play a FB any more.

Will have a lot of problems with arthritis, back problems, etc., in his 40s and 50s.

Left nothing on the field.

True, but being a FB or power back almost guarantees it - to say nothing of the linemen, giant though they may be - they're going up against giants, too.

Think about this - a feature back gets his 25 to 30 carries per game - some of these will be out of bounds, some touchdowns with little or no contact, etc. He will have to block in the passing game, and some of those are rough. So, you figure he gets a solid 20 to 25 hard collisions in a game.

Any of his teammates who play on the line will have 55 to 70 such collisions with a 300lber or, at best a very athletic 225 to 265 pounder. Just brutal.

But the nature of the FB position, particularly, a short, lower center of gravity, medium sized athlete making a 100% effort to destroy someone, at speed takes a toll on both of them - and the other guy doesn't eat a FB block on every play.

Just looked at the replay. He sprung Magee on the primary block against the DE, then came off the block, followed the play, and took out two more guys on his next block (who were zeroing in on Magee). Savage.

Hardly. Half are passing plays, and the half where they would Fire off through a 1 yard neutral zone for the most part

That aint the same as hitting the line full speed and hitting someone who also has a 7 yard head of steam coming down at you
