Would you be upset if Miles gets a raise?

With the Florida job open and Michigan possibly coming open, could Miles use this as leverage for more money? Would our AD entertain it?

He does not deserve a raise, until he wins another National Championship.

Can't let an employee hold an organization hostage. He's not worth it.

A raise would be completely asinine and unwarranted.

I want him to try it. Just once more.

I just don't think he does this as a matter of course. He did it one time, behind probably bad advice from his agent, but this is not a Nick Saban "I do this every year, because this is what I do and it works" kind of situation, at all.

He'd be an idiot to request a raise and Alleva would be even more of an idiot than I originally thought if he'd give him a raise after an 8-4 season.

I agree.

I disagree. An SEC championship almost guarantees a playoff appearance - I'll take that as justification for the next raise. Miles becomes LSU's all-time win leader in 3 to 4 seasons. I don't suspect he will hang around much after that.

I don't see him coaching until he dies.

This is the highest paid staff in college football and they haven't found a way to get their future QB into a game although the HC has said for two months he's trying to get him in.

Alleva should make a comment each week stating he's attempting to get Miles a raise but he just couldn't find a way to make it happen.
