Regarding Frank...because he is our RC and this is the RB.

A very close friend of mine is an assistant college coach. The staff he is a member of has coaches with connections to Troy as well as to coaches on other staffs with connections to Troy...in this case, specifically Neal Brown. They all know each other and communicate with each other. While not officially released as of yet, they all claim to be aware (news moves between friends) that the next Troy HC will in fact be Neal Brown. Apparently the deal was agreed on Thanksgiving Day.

Frank will remain at LSU.

Not surprising that's who they went with. Brown has proved himself as a coordinator at mutiple schools.

Reason he didn't leave is because miles does take care of him and he brings in 700k with bonuses. Troy last HC was paid 500k and no way they even come close to 700k

So is there any other anticipated HC position possibly coming open that may be of realistic interest to Frank? fwiw: Fournette was quoted in The Advocate this morning, presumably a quote from last nite, that "he's (Wilson) not going anywhere".

Even the average everyday LSU fan should know who this man is. Great news.

I know he has the titles of RB coach and Recruiting Coordinator, but is it maybe time to give him the title of Co-OC, only in title though. We have had a very good stable of RB's for quite a while now, and the talent level doesn't look to be dropping off anytime soon.

Yes, good news--not just because he is still on the LSU coaching staff.

I know Frank will have other opportunities in the future and I think he can find a better situation to become a head coach than Troy.
