'Beetlejuice' sought by police as witness to French Quarter Halloween beating

A man dressed as the movie character Beetlejuice on Halloween night is being sought for questioning in connection to a French Quarter beating that left two men severely injured, police said.
Authorities said the victims of the Nov. 1 attack told police they saw a man dressed as the iconic Tim Burton character standing near them after they were both beaten unconscious by two men.
The victims told police they were approached by two men who asked to borrow their cellphone, which they declined. The duo began following the men before striking them both in the back of the head, causing them to lose consciousness.
When one of the victims came to, he told police he recalled a man dressed as the mischievous ghost Beetlejuice standing over him. The costumed man offered reassurance that help was on the way, the victim told police. LINK

Had a chicktender dressed as beetlejuice the night after halloween. Not sure if this is related, but I would have let her beat it.

Well, it doesn't sound like beetlejuice did the beating, was just helping out and didn't want to stick around. Who can blame him.
