Thanks. One more comes to mind and then I'll defer and see if other posters know of any. It is even older than the first one.

Three recent college grads were convicted of a crime many years ago when the electric chair was still used. They were going to be executed one at a time. The three had graduated from three different schools--one from the University of Texas, one from Texas Tech and one from A&M.

The University of Texas grad went first. The executioner pushed the button, but there was no surge of electricity. The executioner told the UT grad he was free to go.

Then it was time for the Tech grad to be executed. The same thing happened--the executioner pushed the button, but no electric surge. The executioner told him he was also free to go.

Then it was time for the A&M grad to be executed. But before the executioner could push the button, the Aggie asked him, "Aren't you going to plug that thing in?"

I was working in Houston in 1978 and while driving one morning the radio guy said this:
"If you were in the army, it's 0800. If you were in the navy, it's eight bells. If you are an Aggie, the big hand is on the twelve and the little hand is on the eight!

Never forgot it!
