How is it even possible that Oak Island has not been fully excavated yet?

17th/18th century trap-makers must have been pretty fricking genius if 21st century technology can't just dig that place up.
We can land a tracker with pinpoint accuracy on a moving comet, but we can't figure out what is buried beneath a bunch of rotting wooden beams?

You gonna pay to excavate the entire island?

Filled with traps to make it constantly flood

It was a 19th century scam that asked for "investments" to fund the excavation. There was a long thread here when the show premiered. The real story is almost as interesting as the fiction of pirate treasure. The ancient and deadly art of flimflam.
