every draft-able player this year (Vadal, Hawkins, Dural. Kwon, Hunter, Mills, J. Collins, + seniors), then we will bring back no less than 17 starters for the 2016 season. That 2016 season would consist of an fully experienced OL and DL. Dupre, Quinn, and Chark as juniors, Smith as a senior. Jones as a senior, Harris as a junior, Fournette and Williams as juniors, Guice and Ducre as sophomores. Adams

So let me get this straight. Lsufans have gone from "wait till next year" to "wait for tw.o more years?"
Also no qb no care. This offense will never succeed again.

Evolve into what? 2 of the top 4 teams run a pro style offense just like ours. Last year's lsu offense accomplished something thats never been done in sec history.

PRO STYLE? we dont run pro style. No pro teams run this offense.

Also, with a starting nfl qb, starting nfl rb, and two starting nfl wrs this offense still couldnt rank top 30 in the nation.

Nice job on playing stupid. That guy said we'd go 8-4 next year and 9-3 in 2016. I explained to him that if we lose all decent draft eligible players plus seniors, we will come back with at least 17 starters for 2016. Harris will be here and will be leading this team the next two years, so you can go whine in the corner about some fantasy of him leaving or never starting here again.

We were 24th in the country in scoring. You know the stat that matters? The score. If you weren't happy with 2013 lsu offense go cheer for oregon.

I really do appreciate everyone who defends this offense says something close to " go cheer for oregon if you dont like it"

Apparently if we dont like the lsu offense, we must prefer oregon.
Not offenses like alabama, fsu, arizona st, auburn, miss st, arkansas, or duke.

What bielema is doing at arkansas is what les wants to do here. He just isnt creative enough to do it.

How is it not true? Arkansas uses mis-direction, stretch plays, draws, counters, etc. to dress up the run game.

They also use their TEs off playaction to keep the defenses honest.

LSU does toss dive, "frick it I'm going deep", and ??????????????

24th? With 4 NFL starters at QB, RB, and WR? Excuse me if I think they underachieved.

Because ill take the offense that didnt lead to a 2-13 sec record.

Lsu's offense was top 5 efficient last year.
They don't score as many points or have as many yards because the team had longer drives and shortened the game.
I know you have trouble giving any credit to anything lsu but I know you aren't this obtuse.

Way to ignore all context. It took an incredible stroke of Les' luck not to lose to that team last year with all the talent we had vs. the empty cupboard and freshmen they had.

I get that. However, every time Les' offense was respectable (not even good) it took an NFL starter at the helm with two NFL WR talent. (05-07, 13)

Not exactly a smart recipe for success in the college game.

You think it's smart to regularly have 12-13 play drives and be "efficient" with college athletes? The odds are much more high that a frick up will happen (false start, holding, INT, fumble) in 13 plays vs like 7-8.

THat offense last year should've lead the SEC with the talent we had on it. Yet we still had piss poor games like Arkansas, Bama, and Ole Miss with this offense.

I agree and see what your saying. I also think an unbiased person would see that despite Arkansas' current overall talent level and record they have a much more creative offense. Every time someone criticizes the passing game (lack of) we get hit with : It's "pro-style", we're young, 3000 yd QB in 13'. But there is also the assumption that people criticizing the offense want an air raid offense. Not true. If you gave Arkansas staff LSU's personnel back in the spring do you think they could get more production out of the same players?

While I'm not going to shite on LSU's offense last year it really wasn't all that creative. It succeeded because the skill guys were simply better than the guys they matched up against.

This year the offense is what you see. It's torture.

Ill also add that trai turner is a 5th starter from last years offense starting in the nfl. No reason for last years offense to not be top 3 in the sec.

Also, the hypothetical," what if we werent in the sec west" is stupid. We are. That isnt changing. Adapt to it, or die.

You'll never convince the CLM pumpers of anything so why bother; like trying to convince political party members to switch
Just curious and not get an answer how many of these folks (CLM lovers) put up their hard earned $ toward season tickets, attending games, tailgating and such?

No cfb program runs some wild and imaginative offense. The coaches have 20 hours a week to practice. Cfb offenses are about execution not about some innovative offense or wide variety of play calling. Hell Auburn runs the same play 75% of the time.
