The defensive talent is unreal, especially getting valentine.. Plus they all coming back with experience on top of top shelf talent. There is tremendous offensive skill talent returning as well

However, having Alabama be our daddy and losing chicken bowls and going 7-5 is not acceptable.

I guess some of the posters on this site dont understand that BAMA is everyone's daddyright now. We still have a chance to get 9 wins and in the last 5 years, only 4 programs have at least 9 wins every year and lsu is one of them (bama, oregon, nebraska, and lsu).

If I had my way, he'd be gone this year. 7-5 is just not acceptable.

And no coach in his right mind would come to lsu after having fired the winningest coach in lsu's history after 1 bad season. If lsu finishes with 9 wins, we will be in the top 25 and in no way should Miles be fired.

No. Other sec west teams that we usually beat have extremely experienced teams. Take Miss st for example. all of these positions are manned by seniors,3 starting oline, te,3 of the 4 starting dlinemen, there best lb, and 3 of the 4 starting secondary.

We're not evolving on offense, others have

Evolve into what? 2 of the top 4 teams run a pro style offense just like ours. Last year's lsu offense accomplished something thats never been done in sec history.

Everybody has seen it but the sunshine pumpers.

Seen what? We finished in the top 15 last year.

What's that? Finish 7th in total offense and 6th in pts scored in the SEC while boasting the best offensive talent on one team at the same time in perhaps SEC history?

First sec team with 3000 yard qb, 2 1000 yard wrs , and a 1000 yard rb.

We finished 33rd in total offense,36th in yards/game,24th in total points scoredand 24th in points/game nationally. So you can say we finished 6th in the sec all you want, but finishing 24th nationally in pts/game is good.

Meanwhile, we turn in to fricking Texas by watching it happen instead of accepting reality and taking action.

For all the debating going on the truth is the guy would have to fall on his face to get fired. I don't think it will fall that far. I think it will be like someone else said. Better versions of Les' OSU teams. Be competitive against some good teams and win a big one here and there. Drop a few here and there that they probably shouldn't and have7/ 8/9 (with the exception of the year after losing to Bama this is what Texas became) win seasons. It certainly won't be terrible but I don't think they will play for another title.

Most fans I talk to acknowledge the past success but are just sick of Les' schtick and his brand of football. I think people are just starting to give less of a shite.

Its harder to win the sec title than it was to win the bcs title. You cant finish 2nd in the sec west and win a sec title.

No worries. No chicken shite sandwich bowl this year. We will play in the fabulous Texas bowl if we win. If we lose, we may get to go to beautiful Birmingham

1/9/2012 was pointing to the future. 2015 will be yet another year of great potential players being coached down to a middle of the road team.

1. the recruiting class isn't done
2. the system may work with something between Anthony Jennings, and Mettenburger
3. we aren't 7-5, so let them play the fricking game first,

half your "Facts" are opinions.
The only fact is that we are currently in the bottom half of recruiting, but we also have 15 recruits so we aren't done yet.

I have to disagree. Ok so Flynn redshirted under saban and spent 4 years under Les. didnt recruit him, but def developed under him unless you think matt flynn as an 18 year old going to reggies was the same as the 22 year old winning a bcs title.

Jmarc ill give you that because he actually played under saban, Imagine if saban actually rode him instead of insisting to play randall. jmarc was the future, but i guess he wont get criticized for this since he can do no wrong.

Mett. Well how did he get to LSU? He was recruited. Now he rs at uga. As a rs you arent getting reps in practice, let's face it. he then spent 1 year at Juco and started, got some development there. Then he spent 3 years at LSU. Unless you think mett was the same player in 2011 as he was in 2013, then he developed.

Malik and Mack are Aggies. Especially with this abortion of a season and offense.

Why would they care about our offense? They are an OLB, and DT.

If you haven't noticed A&M is 7-4 too, and their defense is ranked worse than our offense.

Flynn took snaps in 2004.
