8-4 or 7-5 is this a 'Must Win'

Is there a big bowl difference in 8-4 vs 7-5?? I feel we perform better when Les plays loose with nothing to lose. IMHO

If we win, we are guaranteed a January 1st bowl game. If we lose, we will most likely be playing a much less respected opponent in December.
This game is hugely important because if we win, we play on a new years day bowl game, and if we win that bowl game, the season will be a success.
Name me a single fanbase in the country that would not be content with a new year's day bowl victory.
This game WILL determine whether LSU has a shot to make this season a great one, or if the team will be sent to Shreveport.

9-4 with a win over the Aggies and a bowl victory versus 7-6 and a HUGE depressing slide to end the season.

7-5 will be awful. Really set the tone for a negative offseason. At least we'll get a favorable bowl matchup though.

You would hope this team could destroy an opponent we are matched up with either 7 or 8 wins. We underachieved this year, need to finish strong.

It doesn't matter. In April, we'll still be sitting around without a trip to Atlanta since 2011.

8-4 gives you the chance for a better bowl and a 9 win season. 7-5 gives you a lesser bowl and a potential 6 loss season. Every win is important for a young team and for the recruits who watch you.
