2015-2016 Recruiting Prospects - Come make a difference in a GREAT PROGRAM.

Stand up! If you think you are GREAT. GO make your mark on the college game as a TIGER!. LSU will play for National Championships in the FUTURE!

LSU will produce many NFL players over the next 6 years. You could be in that number!

Coaches, Stand UP! We(OC) need to open UP! This is the SEC, not the Big Ten!

Let's figure on 13-14 spots to fill in 2015, and 25 in 2016

QB - Hope both QBs improve..and I think they will but we need a backup plan in case they don't.

[Need a JUCO or Transfer player who can come in the spring]

QB - Prospects (list who you think we need to recruit for 2015)...need Cole Kelly in 2016!!

OL - this is a huge and big problem. We need more depth. Need (4 Center/Guards and 5 Guards/Tackles) all in 2015-2016.

OL Prospects - (List who you would like for us to sign) #1 Tillery

LBers - we need some long rangy kids who can run and can tackle...tackling is huge on the D-side of the ball. Need 3-4 in 2015.

Need McGinnis, A. Thomas and 2 more strong kids. Need another 4-5 in 2016 to be set for long term.

Specialty Players - we need them almost just as bad so we need our QBs to improve or be replaced.

KR and PR - we need (3-4) big-time kids who can come in and be game changers.

Prospects: Johnson, Dillon, D. Jackson, Ridley (we need them to compete for the National Championship)

Punters (yes -2) we need to bring in at least 2-3 punters. Walk-ons, etc. The punting game has not been good the last 2 years. We need to improve there like yesterday.

Kickers- we need to improve...I hope we can get that area straighten out next season.

DL - we need 4-5 guys who can really play. Hope Herron can come through for us next season. Gilmore and #92 are in over their heads. Gilmore does not have what it takes to play in the SEC (no disrespect). Need guys who are aggressive!! You can't teach aggression.

Need: Tyrell Jacobs, J. Taylor and 2 other strong kids. Jacobs will play on Sundays!

WR - Need 2-3 more big-timers ( Johnson, Ridley, Charlot, Hodge)

DE - Need 3-4 kids who are have that motor to get to the QB and play with outside leverage . We get beat too many times on outside containment...(late passes in the AL game)

Prospects: Washington, D. Jackson and 2 more speed rush guys with size.

DBs - Just need to sign 4 every year (2015-2017)
We have been making some good selections as of late. Need to sign kids who can tackle as well as cover. They need to be able to do both, not one dimensional(cover) like some of the guys we have now. I like the way Adams plays. We need more guys with that "killer"-(to tackle) in the secondary.

Voorhies, Battle, Paris, Tolliver, Gage, Jefferson, and Lewis...stand up!!

Stay on top DBU!

Now we are on top with RBU!!

Could be the best group of RBs in the nation...wow!

Williams, Fournette, Guice, Ducre, Mouton, Brossette, D. White and Melvin Jones.

All will be picked in the top 1-3 rounds of the NFL Draft. Just need some OL to block for them.

IF we can get the OL up to national standards. I can see us playing in at least 2-3 National Championship games over the next 5 years.

And if we make all of the above upgrades. We could be in 4 of the next 6 championship games by the end of 2020.

Appreciate the optimism but we are looking at last in the SEC West. We have fallen to the bottom of our division.
Do not see a sudden surge to the same level of AL and that is what playing for multiple national championships in the next 5 years would require. Our QB alone will kill us unless Harris suddenly blossoms.
Bottom line is Miles, regardless of talent, simply runs too inconsistent of a program throughout the entire season. You never know which team will show up - the team with their heads in the clouds or the team ready to play.

Love the Optimism Scout123!

Im with u all the way.2 yrs ago MLB and two 3 point on the road losses did us in. This yr the QB play finally caught up with us. But, we didnt go 4-8 like TCU in the mighty Big XII under similar curcumstances did we?

Harris and Jennings will be much better next yr and both will remain Tigers throughout. What was hard to watch this yr, will be a strength moving forward. I like our chances with good QB play.

Geaux Tigers

Great Post btw

Well done sir....with so many negatives being pointed out by Nega-tigers this year, it is refreshing for somebody to display enthusiasm for our beloved tigers going into next year and beyond... have an upvote

This OP seems pretty accurate, based on what is known at this time. Not sure that many LB's are needed in 2016, but otherwise, a solid post.

For 2015 class, it would be great to get a solid DT and maybe two or three LB'ers not yet committed who are at least 4 star recruits. That way, LSU won't have to sign 3-4 in 2016, using those spots for other needs.

It is important for the 2016 class to get 3-4 great DL, as the state of LA appears loaded at that position.

Patterson might be the best QB produced in LA in some time. Signing either or both him & Franks is a priority for the 2016 class, as it does not appear LSU will land a highly rated QB in the 2015 class.

You nailed it. LSU got off to slow starts in the majority of games this year and we were fortunate to beat Wisconsin. Does anyone believe Harris will be given a real shot to play since Miles is not doing it now. Harris may go to greener football fields (transfer) ones he can actually play on.
