Question, going forward. Should LE retain the right to kill unarmed attackers.

If they are threatened by a passive (hands up) aggressive attack per the M. Brown scenario?

From what I've read about Brown, there was nothing passive about his behavior. If the GJ evidence is correct, the cop was scared shitless and tried to bring him down, but Brown continued to advance. I think the cop did about all he could to prevent killing Brown - but Brown was relentless. Its my opinion that this is an extreme case where the cop's action was justified.

Did that spinning make you dizzy?

Stop making shite up. All evidence shows he was the attacker and the ones saying he had his hands up were lying.

Can I passively punch you in the face?

Indeed!
To follow up on your question, I would ask?
May I raise my hands up, say "Don't shoot" and then get close enough to break your nose with a head butt?
Mind you, I'm unarmed with my hands up.

Only if you promise to passively go after my gun afterwards. And then after running briefly, you passively turn around and charge me, even after being shot several times.

You can throw the first punch - even if I'm armed with a gun - TF...if you feign passivity (hands up) in order to get within striking distance. That gun is up for grabs after that first punch.
And it is the unarmed/hands-up meme that Obama/Holder/Leftist are going to use to handcuff LE...when it comes to the future unrest that OBAMA/HOLDER/CNN/SHARPTON/et al are ginning up with their grand moral-grievance mentality.
Did any of yall watch O'Reilly interview that Hispanic Dem Strategist gal? She was in the above category - an active apologist for the rising violent revolutionary mindset. O reminded her that they are relatively few in number...and that America..."is watching". She got it, for the first time probably. Point being...that if demogogues like Obama/Holder/Sharpton fan the passion flames, and pile on so LE can't protect the civil citizenry...then the citizenry too will take the respect for Law gloves off and protect their property and lives.
This is where all the protest will end up. They will go for changing the Law, to limit the lethal force employed against *unarmed/passive* children like Brown...who are just taking stuff they can not otherwise afford...fault being that of the immoral Capitalist economic model.

Brother had CNN on while we were shooting pool...some brunette who was an all-in apologists for heathen ga...err...aggrieved children who are killing each other and would like to kill Law Enforcement too. Worst pool I ever shot. This gal may as well post a beheading of Wilson on youtube. Obama and this ilk is going to be the cause of a ton of blood in the streets...it they don't wise up.
Educate yourself, BV. O'Reilly may be a pompous arse...but he brings the hard stuff...while the rest bow to the PC master.

Not the same, but if you encountered a Large black man that threatened your life, would you protect yourself?

Force should be met with force.

Depends on the circumstance, 2c; I'm getting old, my faith in a good next life is top tier...so I might cut an ignorant fool some slack. Be they Black or White or whatever. Now if they threated folk that I were responsible for, over and above myself...that's another animal.

Yes! Just because you're not holding a gun, doesn't mean you're not a threat.
This wouldn't have been an issue if the store owner would have shot the thug. I think the more they handcuff the police, the more that will empower business and property owners to defend themselves. And there will be a lot more dead POS Michael Brown types then.
