At least you admit you are confused. Let me help. There is a difference between a guy who gets in trouble vs. a guy who internally is a problem. Miles has a history of bending over backwards for the former situation.

Of course not. However, Miles is the only coach I can think of who has a talented freshman on the bench in favor of a sophomore who's throwing for less than 150 yards and .5 TDs a game.

looking for a defense of Miles here is stupid. The man has a varying array of excuses (none of which seem credible by any other available information) about why he wont play a kid over the worst player at that position in college football.
Call it what it is, Miles lying. Why he is lying is up for debate, but the fact remains the same.
I'd wager it isnt an altruistic lie as has been suggested.
