We have argubly the best runningback, defensive back and Olineman already committed to this class. I'm sure it could be worse then that.

Would this even come out before the season was over? Les usually keeps these things under wraps until after the season

Frank interviews for some job just about every offseason. Eventually he'll take one, but the guy legitimately loves what he does. I think we'll keep him until LF leaves.

Reporter from Montgomery that covers Troy said it on Finebaum. Apparently Frank is high on their list. He also said they asked permission to interview Mike Bobo and permission was granted although Bobo declined. It really doesn't have anything to do with Frank wanting to leave; more so about his ambition, which Frank has always had.

We've got a QB in McMillan. Is he a project, yeah. but we aren't really looking at him to seriously start here. Franks and Patterson are both huge fish next year that we are likely to land on NSD 2016.

DT, we are going after the JUCO and Mack, even still, we go four deep at the position. Let's say we lose Valentine, Lacouture and Godchaux after 2016, every other DT that is on the roster right now, will have 3+ years in the system for 2017. We are looking to nab 3 in our on backyard in 2016, so I don't think they want to load up this year.

I ain't gonna put percentages to it, but we've got a great shot at the following:

Jon Taylor
Garrett Taylor
Daylon Charlot
Kyle Phillips
Christian Campbell(if we offer)
Donte Jackson
Jerry Tillery
Rasool Clemons(if his grades are in order)
William Sweet(I think Womack flips and we press hard for Sweet)
Derrick Dillon(If the offer is for WR, then he'll flip no doubt in my mind)

Less likely:

Tyron Johnson
Damarkus Lodge
Dylan Jackson

Even less likely but guys we're making up ground for:

Malik Jefferson
Daylon Mack
Arden Key
Drew Richmond

Loooooooong shots:

CeCe Jefferson
Leo Lewis
Kendall Sheffield
Iman Marshall

Unknowns:

JUCO QB/Zach Gentry
Possible replacement RB if Brossette flips(Kendall Bussey?)

I think we'll lose Washington, Womack, and maybe Nick B so we'll have 12-13 spots left.

Godchaux and LaCouture have played really well the last few games, definitely not a weak spot now. Adding Jonathan Taylor and Travonte Valentine gives LSU the best DT rotation in the nation.

Guice is the next Nick Chubb
Kevin Toliver is the defensive version of Odell Beckham Jr

That's an argument for filling those position needs three years ago, not this year.

BTW, DT is the strongest position on our team, along with WR and LB, going into 2015.

I agree LB looks good next year but they need to sign a stud this year & go get 3 next year, b/c if Beckwith bolts after his Jr. year, we are thin for 2016, even if Duke & Donnie develop into quality starters - I'm not sold on that. (I realize that we haven't seen much of Donnie, but he wasn't a highly ranked guy & needs to put on good weight. Hope he turns into a beast, tho)

Sunshine isn't allowed to be pumped on this sight. Only full blown insanity and end of the world shy falling shite is allowed.

Re BobBarker.

Interesting. I would have thought you had a better shot with D Mack.

Also, Tillery may be at the thanksgiving game against A&M. This doesn't hurt your chances either.

KJ plays G, not T... and Pocic is too good to NOT start at LT, not RT.... i have a feeling Clapp will beat out everyone for C...

LT-Pocic
LG-Boutte

Malone has practiced and played at T this year.

I think they keep Pocic in the interior where he's had two years of experience.

I'm not prepared to give up on Alexander and Hawkins just yet. La'el came back, then so can these two.
