Indian River County boy accidentally shot in leg

A 12-year-old boy was hospitalized after being accidentally shot west of Vero Beach about 1:30 p.m. Monday.
The injured boy — who was shot in the leg — and his 10-year-old cousin were preparing for a family hunting trip when the shotgun discharged at a home in the 7900 block of 37th Street.
The injured youth was taken to Indian River Medical Center & Heart Institute with non life-threatening injuries. LINK
