Outside of the god awful QB play, and the shithole coaching that has been going on for years now (ex: OM clock management, UT lucky win, 21-0, 17-0, etc) who else is being bashed? What players are being bashed? Who is bashing the program?

Have not seen hardly any posts trashing the team; mostly aimed at "your" highly overpaid coaching staff!

No one is bashing the team or program. They bash Les Miles because he operates those entities, and he gets PAID to do so, and PAID WELL. Does his salary warrant the on-field performance he has given? Compare what he's paid to what other coaches make, and then compare their records. I guarantee that you will not like what you find out. People love LSU, and they loved it before Les Miles. You need to learn how to separate Les Miles from LSU. LSU can live on without Miles seeing as it came to glory without him.

Inconsistent

Even OBJ had some drops and mental errors that cost us.

I mean... It was. No one is arguing we've consistently been good on offense under Les. That would be absurd.

Why is it all or nothing? Why can't people be critical and know things need to improve while not wanting to fire the staff?

That seems to make you a "pumper" on here. I don't understand that.

Miles is not a good in-game coach and I can think of about 10-12 others I think could manage 9-10 wins fairly regularly.

I have a lot of criticism with Les, but I think his 4th quarter comeback record shows the ability to adjust.

I do think that he waits until his hand is forced too much

I was referring to the coaching. Miles had had some blunders over the last 5-8 years.

I still think about Byrd's catch vs AU. If he had not caught that ball, and LSU loses, this place would have banded together to burn his house down. Kick the FG Les.

this is how I feel

I don't think Les is the best option for LSU, but I also think he's accomplished a lot and deserves another year or 2 to get back to 10+ wins and competing for the conference before anyone should be saying he deserves to be fired.

If a game is close because of great play by the defense then a 4th quarter comeback is possible. And LSU should win a lot of those games with the superior talent. But when it is getting out of hand because of an ineffective offense that loves to pound the ball like Miles' loves to do. You won't see many comebacks there because they cannot with the type of offense he likes to run. That's what has people so tired of Miles' act. Any other college team could come back fast when down, but not LSU.

Their offense isn't the norm.

Yea his 4th quarter comeback record will surely shift the other way if the offense doesn't make some very drastic changes, very soon.

Miles has the most 4th qtr comebacks in the country the last 10 years so your comment doesn't make sense.

I don't want Les out either. I want him to fix this shite he created and hope he retires.

I just don't see how Miles has succeeded this far. Dude is a moron winning football games.

Les Miles = Jim Caldwell.

He's won in the 4th quarter in a variety of ways

Well that is true of any offense. I'm going to look to the Saints again here. The Saints are the opposite of LSU when trailing going into the 4th.

I don't think the QB play can get any worse than it was this year.

We had 2-3 4th quarter comebacks, depending on what you consider UF to be

The defense gives the offense the chance to win those games is what I'm getting at. And as I mentioned up above LSU should win those type of games because of their talent, but if they had taken care of business throughout the game in the first place they would be no need for a close game or a 4th quarter come back.

I would have nothing to say if they had an offense like the Saints. lol
