Personally, I thought it was looking like a slam dunk that the GJ would not return a verdict to Indict Wilson. We were hearing that at least a half dozen eyewitnesses had corroborated the officer's statements and testimony.

But, I don't like the way this thing keeps dragging out. These jurors are under a lot of pressure. They also have not been sequestered, so they are hearing EVERYTHING. Finally, I heard today that a judge will rule later on whether or not the names and addresses of the jurors will be released. That almost sounds like a threat.

So, and I hope I'm wrong, I'm leaning toward the following verdict:

INDICTMENT

What sayeth you?

He'll be charged with something and it will be just like the TM case where the justice system has flipped and the defendant will have to prove his innocence.

Indictment and then a not guilty verdict during trial. I think is a slam dunk "no indictment" but politics will make this messy.

I say No Indictment.Announcement late Wednesday. Thanksgiving and Black Friday squash protests.

We'd heard if they were going to charge him.

KCT, can't be done by any judge. It will not happen, I guarantee it.

Are the names and addresses of jurors released in other trials? Honest question.

Because I don't know if I've ever heard of such happening. If so, it is a douche move by the judge. Like you said, it almost sounds like a threat.

That's good to know, NHT. I either read that or saw it on television, but I can't remember the source now.

The judge has been requested by the County prosecutor's office, via proper legal procedures, to release certain parts of the evidence presented to the grand jurors. According to various law educators, such a request has only been granted 3 times in U.S. Judicial history. She has yet to rule on that request, which was supposedly made to help prevent violent reactions in the case of a no true bill decision.

Perhaps this is what you heard.

all I want is the truth, if it takes an extra day, a week or a month...so be it.

I just want the truth, too.

I don't trust the political climate surrounding this circus, though.

It's "No True Bill" for the legal jargon challenged.
