So since this is 1:30/2:30 game during a work day, I figure we'll discuss this now.

This is the first team we'll play where our size won't matter. Clemson's lineup goes:

C: JR. Nnoko - 6'10 255
PF: SO. Jaron Blossomgame - 6'7 215
SF: FR. Donte Grantham - 6'8 205
SG: SR. Demarcus Harrison - 6'4 205
PG SR. Rod Hall - 6'1 205

They like to play their starters as all 5 average about 26 minutes per game or more. They like to use 2 main guys off the bench in 6'0, 185 JR. Jordan Roper and 6'6, 205 SO. Austin Ajukwa who play 15 and 19 minutes a game respectively. 6'8, 245 Josh Smith is their only big man off the bench who is a threat and is averaging just 9 minutes per game. They have a 6'10, 240 pounder in SO. Sidy Djitte who they only like to use in very short spurts in each close game.

Nnoko is a beast on the offensive end, he uses all 6'10 255 pounds to bully defenders around, and presents a HUGE matchup issue inside for us if Robinson cant bang with him for a while each half. He's averaging 14 points per game (just 28.5 minutes per game) shooting 56%. It's no secret he likes to play right at the rim and get to the line (25 FT attempts this season in just 4 games).

Blossomgame is an undersized 4 man who is a very good rebounder for his size. Nonko only averages 5.8 boards a game while Blossomgame is bringing in 7.5 boards a game.

The key to this game IMO is absolutely Robinson on Nnoko. This is the first true good big center that we will need Big E to try and disrupt. I dont feel like Martin or Mickey has a prayer of holding this guy down inside on their own so Big E needs to step up and possily give us 10-15 minutes tomorrow...maybe even help get him into foul trouble. If we can make Nnoko not a part of the game, we shouldn't have a big trouble winning this. If Nnoko is getting what he wants inside, it will open up their guards and we'll see ourselves having another nightmarish defensive night.

Yeah, lets foul the guy into submission.

Oh wait, that's actually our best strategy down low.

Man, I have not seen anything from Big E that tells me he's ready for something like this. He just seems like he can't move very well at this point.

Unless Nnoko is a slow footed plodder I'd rather play an athletic lineup and double the post on most of the entries to Nnoko.
