It's worth it. I'll probably end up getting a PS4, but the Wii U is great.
The lack of third party games is obviously a problem, but for me personally I don't have the time to play games constantly anyway. I'm still working my way through some of the wii u games I have (while playing Mario kart and smash).
Plus if you skipped the wii like I did there are some more games you can play. I have xenoblade chronicles and am determined to play it but can't seem to get myself to start an 80 hour rpg.
