I was of the thinking that OKC might be ok treading water until they got their main cogs back, but unless the injury bug bites a couple of the other contenders, they are well and truly fricked.

Can't spot teams that many games in this conference. I say our division puts every team in the postseason this year.

I was thinking the same thing. The Grizz last season were 10-15 at their worst and still had to pull off the best record in the NBA post Jan. 1 to sneak into the playoffs. They are already 9 games below .500.

Especially considering that the bottom of the conference has gotten better. Kings, Pels, and Utah are all improved. Denver is still a nightmare to deal with on their home court. The Twolves are missing a bunch of guys right now, but can cause some issues when they are 100%.

The Lakers stink.

The Grizz were exactly who I was thinking of. That was a Herculean effort just to make the postseason, and honestly idk if OKC can pull it off at this point.

Yup, there are simply no gimmes to be had. Incidentally, I'm going to see SA play the Wolves in a couple of weeks. Hoping the T-Pups don't decide to be troublesome

Let's point and laugh at them again, shall we?

The NBA apparently doesn't want me to see the Grizz play this year.

Fall break - Grizz go on a 3 game road trip
Thanksgiving - 4 game road trip

Hopefully I will be able to catch them a few times over the Christmas break.

I can't do it too much right now because we play them next. Karma and such...

Damn that sucks. I haven't seen my Spurs play since 2012. Wanted to get wifey to see Timmy play at least one more time before he hangs 'em up (she has a huge crush on the guy )

I'm gonna just barely miss y'all coming to town on the 5th. Me and the old man are going in on some season tickets next year though, so that should be awesome.

Well he is on that Laker team. Doesn't mean he wouldn't be amendable to change if he went to a team where he was the second or third option.

Kobe is Kobe. Everything that comes out of his mouth tells me he still believes he is a Top player.

I think y'all are off on OKC. Looks like Durant and Westbrook are coming back sooner than expected, and they've been in most of their games so far. Their making the playoffs almost certainly means the Pels miss, but I think OKC sneaks in and wins it all.

That'd be impressive, but they're gonna have to go balls to the wall all season just to make it in, only to have to face a Western contender.

I just don't see it.

Agreed. OKC will be playing with playoff intensity for months heading into the playoffs. They will be gassed.

So when I switched on ESPN and saw that the Grizz highlights were the 2nd thing on the ticker. They went to commercial and it has only been NFL highlights....
