Obama comments on Ferguson - references Trayvon

This was a true toss up between Poli Board and OT but I went with the OT solely for the quality of responses this is sure to garner.
While many of us may not like POTUS and his policies, I think we can all agree that this guy is an astute political animal. How can he be so obtuse as to weigh in again after Trayvon blew up in his face? And to compound it by comparing Trayvon (a private citizen shooting) to Ferguson (a police shooting)?
For the OT: he even mentions a "good kid" which is classic OT fodder.
What sayeth the OT on this?

I don't care if he was a gang banger or a thug, His actions at the time should decide if the shooting was justified or not.

I couldn't agree more. I said at the time that if I was his Press Secretary the comment would have been: "That is a local matter, as POTUS I am solely focused on our economy and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan right now."

I'm all for better profiling of criminals, but don't try to fix a problem by using 2 examples where racial profiling worked correctly. use an example when someone who was actually innocent got shot.

Obama has a long record of condemning some white guy immediately upon hearing the initial report. It is always involves race. He isn't focused on the big picture other that to .. (this would send thread to poli board). He is dividing the races further every time he involves himself into these situations.
