I would think that it is a foregone conclusion that LSU will be predicted by the SEC coaches, etc., to finish in the bottom three of the SEC West for next year. It has to have been a long time since that has happened.

Don't let them get to you. There is a core of "fans" who don't give a shite about LSU or the performance of the program, but just get off on bitching at people who think the coach isn't doing a good job. These people think it's anti-LSU to say anything bad about the coach, but feel totally free to trash the players, the fans, or pretty much anything else about the school. They have shitty arguments, usually resort to emotional bullshite like saying LSU fans are the worst/you're an idiot/etc. They will keep this up no matter how bad the program falters. I guarantee you we could go 0-12 for 10 years in a row and this group would still be here making excuses for the coaches and calling anyone stupid or a bad fan or whatever if they wonder why one of the best-positioned programs in the nation isn't performing anywhere close to how it should. Yes, this type were all over the place clamoring to keep Mike Archer, Curley Hallman, Gerry DiNardo, etc.
They are what they are, and they will never change.
