Exactly. It works when we have 1st or 2nd round talent at QB. But how often are you going to be able to have a first or second round QB on your roster to zip balls into one route double coverage?

So we are evaluating the health of the programs based off of a one game vacuum look especially when that was the first sec win in almost three years for one of the teams?

No, more like contrasting the directions of the teams based on the season which includes last weeks game. LSUs record is better than Arky's, but Ark is the better team than LSU right now and may end the year with a similar record. The main difference is Ark had to play UGA.

Just a few weeks ago it was the complete opposite.

Yep. Miles philosophy is to keep the score low and win in the 4th. The old Bo/Woody grind it out style. I don't think there's a coach in D1 that has as many 4th quarter close games as Miles. I saw the number and it's staggering.

It works when you have the offensive personnel to move the ball when you have to. He doesn't have that right now. We've only had one season since 2007 with that kind of QB play.

How many did LSU have?

You are helping make my point, LSU had less than half of that, around 130 total. That has even MORE of a bearing on how inept Bielemas offense was, cause we kept giving them the ball right back. Its a mirror offense.

You don't quite get the point. I'm not praising his offense, I'm telling you how shitty LSU's offense really is.

Arkansas is far more advanced than LSU's.

Yet a lot of LSU fans expected to lose to Arkansas. They've been improving all season long.

Yes. At the very minimum he believes in the forward pass.

With the food here Bert would probably need to be wheeled onto the field.

Based on what? I'd love to see a factual breakdown and not just some rant meme that many of the anti lsu fans have been parroting about Arkansas' offense.

I'm sure I'll hear crickets though.

Im in agreement with you that LSUs offense is shitty, but Arkys is not much better. Just because they doubles our offensive production shouldnt be a ringing endorsement for BB.

He's done a fantastic job of coming in and setting up his system and making it work. Arkansas is a better team than LSU right now and he's building something solid, with less talent.

He's running the offense Les would like to run with a QB who isn't that mobile.

Les has done some great things at LSU but only an idiot would think Miles has the program going in a better direction than BB does at Arkansas. They've improved dramatically on offense and defense this year.

Yes it is. In fact, it's the kind of offense Miles would love to have.

He doesn't want to put up 500 yards a game. He wants to control the clock, grind it out. Arkansas is running the offense he would love to run, except they throw to tight end...
