Heading up to KS tomorrow for a duck/goose shoot and will be bringing our own food to the lodge. I will be bringing a few lbs of trout to fry up and want some suggestions on some other stuff that would be easy to pre make and heat up. We will have a pot and burner. Gonna do my famous crawfish dip as well.
Will be taking 61 up to North Little Rock to pick up a buddy, so maybe I can get something good on the way?

There's no taco bell there?
But for real: Frozen gumbo, stew, sausage dogs, boudin, lasagna, Calvin's side dishes. Just easy stuff you can heat up and eat.

gumbo sounds like it could be a winner. Any recs on some good premade? Don't have time today to cook too much

IDGAF. If I had time to do it myself I would. Got a million other things to do right now.

Call Randy Montalbano's.

It all really depends on how many folks you are feeding...
I would precook a brisket and bring that...you can eat it as is or slice it and make sammiches. when you get tired of that, break it down and mix with barbecue sauce for a different twist on sammiches...
bring a half pound of skrimps for each person and cook them up with some alfredo sauce from a jar to serve over pasta...
also might want to make a shrimp and corn soup, which would be great in cold weather...
maybe bring some stew meat and make a good chili?....
ETA: in the grocery stores here, there is usually a little freezer tucked somewhere that has premade, frozen products by John Folse...typically has gumbo, etoufee, etc.

Almost any restaurant will sell you gumbo by the gallon. Pick your fave and call them.
