1.) Do you believe that we should seal our borders to stem the tide of immigrants coming up through Mexico? Why or why not?

2.) What should we do with the imigrants that are already here illegally (and those that are still coming across the border)?

I'm trying to figure out why this issue is so hard resolve...

1. Yes. Because we are the only nation on the planet with an open border. No border = no nation.

2. Round them up. Load them on buses and send them back to Mexico. Give each one a departing gift. Take spent fuel from our nuclear reactors and wrap it up in a nice box and tell them it's a tortilla warmer.

Read up on 'Operation Wetback'.

It was very effective but the bleeding hearts whined and well, you know the rest of the story...

The program was actually encouraged by the Mexican government. The hard working, productive citizens were leaving Mexico looking for work in the US. There were extreme labor shortages in Mexico. This was when the Mexican government still had some sanity to it.

Now forward to now. The roles are reversed.

US business still loves the cheap labor and the work ethic that many of them have.

Now, we have large sects of the US population that are able to work but the US government has been subsidizing laziness and sloth for well over 50 yrs.

We have 4-5 generations of Americans who have never worked a day in their life and barely can read or write. The US will one day realize the insanity of this policy and start requiring these folks to get up and work.
