Actually, that kind of journalism is getting very common on ESPN.

Yeah Cosby had gone off the plantation. Needed to be reeled in and put in the hot box.

Interesting theory. Part of the reason this is only coming out now in a big way is that he intentionally had a story about it spiked by a fawning media that just wanted access. This was way after he started making his "pull up your pants" rants.

If you thought highly of Ted Kennedy, you condone drunk driving and letting young women drown in rivers.

I do like Bill but believe he should pay if this is true. But, I have to say, that all these white women coming forward now, accusing a black man of something done 30+ years ago is suspicious. I mean, if they couldn't get a black man looked at closer then....I don't know. And this is before he had the star power of today. All I ever knew of him then was the voice of a bunch of cartoon caracters.

Agree.

Agree with this too.

Plus one of the accusers mentioned in her autobiography several years ago that he got mad and stormed out of the room when she resisted his advances. That benefits his defense--he didn't force himself on her, he just got mad and left. If that's his MO he's a creep but not a rapist.

Many of them came out years ago. Some of them settled and some of them were summarily ignored by a media eager to cover it up.

If obama was going to stand of for his own color, he would of already did it. He would rather have the dems win an election off of hispanics! I would rather lose the race, hands down! Bill Cosby did a lot for his race and no one can take that away!

In that case, someone needs to tell CNN that if you listen to Richard Wagner's music, you condone anti-Semitism.

What a bunch of simple-minded dumbasses.

Looks like ole puddin-pops may be reaping what he sowed.

He was a big supporter of the sleazy twana brawley.

He's a big racist.

He refused white dentists to attend him and demanded black dentists to work on him.

Why would the entire MSM cover up this story in the past?

This. And he's far from ruined.

Hell, the media won't STOP sucking HIS dick.

This whole thing is strange.

1)I've no doubt someone in Cosby's position has the ability to quash such things

but

2)It still seems odd. All these women went from basically wanting mum to talkative as frick? Just cause some comedian went viral on the net? WTF?

I've no delusions that famous people who "appear" to be good guys are not always good guys. In fact, I suspect they rarely are.

But damn. This is an odd case. In today's day, "spiking" a story aint what it used to be. Spiking a story these days is darned near impossible with the proliferation of networks and the web.

Sure, spiking it if only one source has it is probably doable. But, that hasn't been the situation here.

I admit it. Is suspect the dude is guilty of at least some of this. But, I'm just slow enough on my roll to wonder why the frick some comedian going viral is all it took to make it go huge.

ANY website seeking hits could've done this. Why didn't it happen before?

Not just the entire MSM. EVERY media source.

If some random comedian could make it go viral, it sure seems like websites in need of hits missed a very easy boat to catch.

I don't want to believe its true but the idea that this many women are conspiring to bring the man down - sobfar after the fact when its too late to sue - is more absurd than the idea that he did it.

kinda sad you'd equate consensual sex with drugging a woman and have your way. I guess Cosby had the same attitude.
